total time 72:19. 72 degrees at 4:46 am when I started my run. I took my hydration belt with me and had 11 oz of water during the run. the plan was to run up-tempo for 2 minutes "on the 5's" (at 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 25 minutes, etc). The first 5 minutes were warm-up and then 2 minutes were run at about 8:10 pace except for the 5th and the 6th (at 45 and 55 minutes) were run at about 7:50 pace. splits 9:09, 8:57, 8:59, 9:02 (only had about 1 minutes of up tempo during this mile), 9:00 (only had about 1 minutes of up tempo during this mile), 9:06, 8:59, 9:08. I felt good about this run.
