Won me some turkey today!  So did Rebecca!  There was a decent amount of people today.  The weather was also good.  As we went out there were a couple who were out in front. I stuck behind one guy for about a quarter mile and he was already falling off pace so I passed and kept about a 50 meter gap behind the lead guy.  He was a cross country runner so I figured I would see what happened.  I didn't want to kill myself.

Nothing much happened throughout the race but I slowly closed the gap for almost 2 miles.  Coming up on the last half mile I was right behind the lead and I passed him moving pretty quick.  I kept my pace up and developed a good 20 second lead on him by the finish so I figured my tactics worked well.  This was my fourth turkey trot... FIRST TIME I WON A TURKEY!  WOOP!

Ended up being an AP of 5:47... 5:47, 5:55, 5:44, 32
