Got home from church and wasn't planning on running but my dad waited all day fir me so I decided to do part of his ten with him. We went up to porcupine grill and across Wasatch where I dropped down into our neighborhood and finished. Felt good to run again

Up 900 s. To foothill and across foothill to guardsman where we went through campus and got up to 11th ave then went for a ways on 11th ave. Turned around and went shriners run back but went down 500 s. To the cemetery to do a lap in it before heading back on 1300 east. Stopped at the book store on campus for a quick pit stop but caught back up to my dad right as we got out of the cemetery. Felt really good once I warmed up and probably could have pushed a little harder towards the end but there was no one ahead of my dad so I didn't have any motivation to catch anyone.

Ran down to liberty and did 2 400's then 2 800's and 2 more 400's. I was supposed to hit 70's and 2:25's. I ended up going 70, 70, 2:35, 2:30, 68, and 67. After that we ran across 800 east to 2100 s and then back on 900 e, 1000 e, and 1100 e. Happy with the workout but it wasn't one of those workouts I was super happy with because I was slow on my 800's. It was pretty tough conditions though so it was pretty good for bad conditions.

7 with the team across 1300 e then a lap in sugar house on the road and down 2100 south to 900 e. Across to 900 s and then up and a lap around the school for 7. Now I'm headed to the gym to do 3 more miles to warm up for weights.

Ran flag pole to flag pole And went to the Westminster flag pole first. When we got to presidents circle we did 8 horseshoe repeats in a row. Garek and Chris started before me but I was slowly gaining on them the whole time. When we finished my dad Sarah and I added to get to 9. Felt pretty good. Don't know the average pace

Ran to sugar house did 2 road laps and then went back. Chris made the first light and garek and I missed it. We closed on him tons and then ended up catching him cause of a light. Stayed consistent the whole run at about 6:30's.

2 miles warm up and a mile of speed changes before the 4x800. We led the whole thing and won. I ran around 2:12. After I got a migraine and I did a cool down of a mile I did the 1600. I didn't really push myself like I know I could have which made me disappointed but I did have a migraine. 5:03. After that we did a cool down of 3.5 to subway and jamba juice. Didnt really do much warm up for the open 800 except some drills. I ran with John in the 800 in like 3rd the whole time and then decided to move with 350 left and took the lead. I ran a 2:10 in that and won my heat but was 7th overall. Then we did like a mile and a half cool down I think. Not really happy with my races but it was good to see where I am at.

Went to a devotional in the morning then came home and ran before church. The plan was to only go 10 bit my dad missed the turn for 10 so we went 12. I thought I was going to be late for church so I bombed it the whole way back and ended up beating my dad, tomy, and John by 14 minutes. I got back at 11 though and still had 2 hours so bombing it like I did was pointless. It was a good run. It's always good to run with tomy

Warmed up 8 laps at the oval then did 4 laps speed changes. After that we did 5 1000's. I was supposed to hit 3:15 and went 3:12, 3:12, 3:11, 3:08, and 3:08. We jogged 1 lap and to the start for the recovery. After we cooled down 4 laps. It was a really good and encouraging workout that made me excited for byu since I wasn't really after racing at Utah State.

Got home from mission prep and then ran to the mouth of parleys and back. It was a really good run for being my first 20. John gapped my dad and I by about .5 of a mile after tomy stopped at 15 but around 18 I decided to kick and try to catch him. I got within 10 feet and then we were done. Felt good the whole time.

Am-6 miles to porcupine grill and back. Felt good which was really surprising.

Pm-did a speed workout of 800, 600, 400, 300, 200 and a 100. We did that set 2 times with an 800 between the sets and the 800 and 600 were supposed to be at mile pace and the rest at 800 pace. We warmed up to the gully and did a lap then came back to do speed changes and change our shoes. I went 2:16, 1:41, 61, 45, 29, and I didn't time the 100's. The second set I really struggled with because I was working so hard. I was really trying to fight with john in the 800 and we only went 2:31. Then we were slow again by 5 seconds in the 600 so we hit 1:45. 400 was a 65 so 5 seconds slow again and then we were able to hit the pace the rest of the time. It was really windy so I think that had a big effect on us but obviously the 20 miler made it hard too. We did 2 miles cool down that felt super hard but it was nice to be done.

Ran to the jcc then ran the dry creek trail to city creek but it definitely was not dry. From city creek we ran down memory grove to south temple and across to 1300 e where we headed back to the track. Really fun run but was super tired for the first mile and the last 2 or 3.

Time trial-warmed up then put on my spikes and did the 1200. I ran a 3:22 and was first with john second at 3:23. I led the entire race and gapped a little bit with 500 to go. After the 1200 I ran until I had to do the 400. I ran a 55 and was second cause I started too slow and let Avery gap me too much. Then I ran more until I had to do a 8x200 with 4 girls and 4 guys. Our team won by 150 meters and then I ran until I went with my dad john and Chris for 4.25 miles.

Speed at the oval of 5x1000 at 3:00 to 3:03. I ended up at 3:03, 3:01, 2:57, 2:56, and 2:59. Really happy with the workout.

Ran 2 on pipeline and only went out 1.5 before I started to feel sick. I went back and then walked the rest of the way. Later I still felt really sick but still decided I would run to cheesecake factory for 5.5.

Speed at the oval. 800 then 400 4 times. Wanted 2:15's and 65's but after one I knew there was no way that was happening. I ran 2:23, 64, 2:37, 71, 3:37, 71, 2:27, 64. My legs were super tired and I was hurting way more than I should have been.

Did a practice meet today. Didn't really push in the mile and went 4:42 then decided I would actually race the 800 and ran a 2:03. After that I ran the 3200 to pace some kids that wanted to hit 13:00 and we hit it right on but we ended up lapping them. Last we dominated in a 4x400 and I only ran a 60.

Warmed up about a mile then started the race. We didn't get off the line very hard so my dad had to yell at us to get moving. We instantly broke away from everyone so it was just me and John. We decided it was too windy so we said we'd take turns drafting. We got up the hill from the capitol to the turn and then I took my turn to break wind for John. I ended up leading the entire rest of the race and won by over a minute. It was perfect for what my dad wanted us to get in because there is no other way I could have done a 6 mile tempo up the canyon as fast as I raced. After the race I did my 7.8 miles of cool down to get my miles for the week.

Had my second attempt at yesterdays 5 1000's but this time I was able to hit my times. I was 3:01, 2:59, 2:59, 2:59, 3:01. Much happier with the workout today and now I get to do the 3200 on Thursday.
