| | Today we did a buddy run on the trail across from the zoo and above this is the place park. When I woke up I was really sore from the day before so i took a little ibuprofen for my foot and sore legs and got ready. The advanced group met at 7:15 and I went and biked a little with them because I am just starting back and didn't want to go too far because it is only my second run since starting. When they got back my dad assigned us to our groups and we started. We started going up the first hill and I was able to tell I am still getting back in shape. My group stayed up with me for the first little bit but I knew the new freshmen had Ben to tell them which way to go so I picked it up a little. I really wanted to have a good run. A couple minutes later I caught up to the slower group of girls that started before us. I passed them and kept pushing up the hill. I then saw the faster group of girls and picked it up a little more so I could pass them. I was then on my own for the rest of the way to the turn around. When I got to a little dip in the mountain I turned around to see if my group was on the other side yet and they were. I yelled across to see how far we were going and saw that Caden was leading them. I pushed to the construction fence and then stopped to wait for my group. Caden was right behind me and the rest of my group was a little bit farther back. When my group got to the fence we waited for the second group of guys to get there and then we started. We all stuck together for a while but when I saw some of the girls that turned around at the first fence I picked it up. They were walking a little bit just waiting for everyone to catch up and I thought I could maybe catch them so I went a little faster. Then I saw the slower group of girls on a lower trail and I knew I could catch them because they were walking. I caught them and thought I maybe had a chance to catch the faster group. I started going really fast down the hills thinking I could catch them but I caught my foot under a root and stumbled a little. I picked it back up and caught the rest of the slower group. I wasnt able to quite catch the other group but when I got back they were adding in the park to get to 3 miles so I jogged over and waited because I knew we were doing a little core work. I started my push ups and crunches because I knew I wouldn't do them at home later and I finished two sets when everyone got back. My dad started talking to the team and then we did 3 sets of one minute step ups. When we finished those I did my last set of crunches and push ups and then went to the car and waited for my dad. When we got home i was exhausted so I took a little nap. When I woke up I decided to do a couple more sets of push ups and crunches | |

| | woke up at 5 packed to go to florida got on the plane. took all day getting to florida and wasnt motivated to go running at midnight when we finally got back to the hotel |
| | Woke up at 9 then went for a run at the resorts golf course. It was really hot and humid and I started getting dizzy and light headed after 2 so I stopped and walked back to our room. Then I layed around and slept all day because I had a migraine | |
| | Am-Ran in the resort it was cooler than yesterday because it was shady but it was still hot so I struggled a little bit Pm- Ran on the golf course path in the resort to a road then turned around when we turned around I thought I would push and try to make my dad keep up. He fell really far behind |
| | Tonight I did a warm up then fartlek and a cool down all on the golf cart path in the resort. For fartlek I did 5 sets of 1 minute on 1 minute off. |

murray fun days 5k (3.1 Miles) 00:21:30, Place overall: 65, Place in age division: 13 | | i did about a mile and a half warmup then did some strides at the start. had a pretty good start and my first mile was just over 6:00. then i crashed really bad and people came flying by me including on of the new freshman on the team. didnt have a good race at all |

sunnyside am- did 4 pm- went out 2.5 miles on pipeline then came back tonight. i was really hurting when we started but i eventually loosened up

| | am-met at cottonwood complex and did our usual warmup lap then stretched did strides hills and ran the region xc course for a cool down pm-biked 6 miles on bike at the gym then did 1.5 miles on the treadmill. after the run i did some weights. |

ran on the road by lake titi somethin then went up a trail but i ran into a house that had a helicopter so i turned around. came back then went on the main street to the corner of the lake then i turned around and got back i think im going to run around the lake tomorrow morning becuz we placed bets on how far around it is here is the garmin link: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/101978741

today i had my uncle drive me out from our hotel so i had to do all my miles . it was really rainy but i still decided to go out before it got dark. my knees hurt for about three miles and tthen they warmed up. when i got back i was drenched and cold so i took a really long shower later im going to do my core here is the link for garmin connect: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/101978718

did the cemetery loop at sugar house. it was really hot at the beginning but it eventually cooled off when it started raining. i started out running with voung gio and kevin. i was really tired and i started to drop back but my dad told me to get back up to them so i pushed to them. when we got onto alden we slowed down and i was able to hang with them. on zenith my dad caught us and i went with him and dylan. when we finally got to the cemetery i wasnt going to go in but i decided to turn around and go back. i was really tired on the first lap but then i saw jesse sam sam and olivia and pushed up to them. then i saw sarah and pushed up to her on the second lap. on the street above the school i was really tired and i could feel how tight my quads were. when i got back i did my 3 sets of 30 crunches and pushups. garmin link: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/103678408

today we did a really hard workout at wheeler farm. we started out with a 2 mile warm up and then did 3 sets of 1-2-3 on and 1-2-2 off. then i did 1.75 cool down and played in the water from the sprinklers! after everybody left i did my core garmin link: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/103678384 |
| | zoo trail. my knees were hurting really bad and so i didnt have a very good run. when maggie came up behind me i tried to push with her for a bit and then jesse caught us and i was really struggling to keep up with them. my knees especially hurt on the hills. did core acrossed the street when we got back |

utah national guard 5k (3.1 Miles) 00:19:57, Place in age division: 8 | | did 2.65 warmup and i felt really good. did the race and started out good. if i would have started faster i would have died really quickly. when we got to the turn at the top of the hill my dad caught me which got me going a little bit. i tried to work up to natalie but once i was to the front of our group it was hard because i didnt get a boost from passing other people. when we got to the turn around u loop thingy my dad caught me. i was struggling going out but when we were coming back i was able to pick it back up and get passed my dad for a little bit. at the two mile there was a water station so i grabbed one drank a little then splashed. the last mile was tough because it is mostly uphill. going up the first little hill after the water station i felt pretty good and like i could maybe catch back up to my dad but when i got to the top i could feel how tired i really was. when we finally got to the last hill i knew i was almost done. i pushed up the hill and when i got to the top i started to kick a little harder cause i wanted to catch maryann. i never did but i felt like i did good because i didnt quit on myself. after i jogged the course backwards but cut out a little and then did a mile out with the team and came back with jesse and abigail. 4 miles cooldown. |
| | met at sugarhouse for the first day of hill week and did a lap warmup then did 7 big hills and 2 tiny hills on the state course. after we did a lap cooldown and then i added .5 for an equal 8. my legs hurt really bad but they eventually warmed up |

| | did the hike today and my dad said i can count just going up as 2 miles so i figured about 1 mile going down. later that night i ran 5 miles to iceberg with my dad and my little brother biked with us. i felt really really good and i was able to push hard. my legs killed afterward while i ate my burger onion rings and chocolate banana malt. |

| | am- 2 laps bonneville glen then strides and two laps around sunnyside 5.5 miles pm- team varsity time trial. warmed up a road lap with natalie 1.5 miles then got to the start and did a few strides. did most of the state course for it but when u cross the bridge we cut back up to the pavillion that we were at. i was the second guy but natalie was 10 seconds ahead of me. I ran a 16:52 i think. about 2.5 miles then i did a really slow half mile cool down. |
