Am- speed workout. 5x1000 my whole body felt really good throughout the workout but I got really bad blisters all over my feet so I stopped after the third one. After that I did the fourth one with the rest of the varsity guys and I did the last one with just Chris. My dad told us to open up the last 200 but instead I opened up a little with 400 to go and a little more with 300 to go. When I got to the 200 Chris took off. I was able to hang for the most part and then in the last 100 I gave everything I had and went flying past. My times were 5:21, 5:21, 5:21, 5:16, and a 5:15. Felt pretty good and hopefully my blisters.feel better for tonights run. Pm-ran the Murray course with Chris and my dad. Chris tripped and fell in the first 100 meters and broke his elbow.Finished the course and added a 1/2 to get an even 11 for the day. |
