I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

I did another golf course loop today, nice day a bit warmer which was nice. I feel pretty good at this point, knock on wood. I hope to make this a better week of training with runs mon thru thurs, and taking friday off and do a long run on sat. painter's half is fast approching. I finished today's workout with 25 min on the bowflex, and 200crunches. |

Today I did a full Bishop Storehouse loop, ran down Senic Drive and then ran up the Canal Rd. The forst few miles were cold and into the wind which was coming from the northwest. Kind of on the cold side for a few miles. Once in the river bottoms no wind and was ver nice. I did feel like pushing it a little bit. I'm still feeling good , I did another 25 min on the Bowflex and finished with 200crunches. |

| I did the golf course loop today and was feeling good so I threw in another mile. Very enjoyable run I jusr wish it would'nt get dark so quick. The weather has been nice the past few days but I know it will turn alot colder soon. So enjoy this week all I can. |

Another nice run around the golf course and nice weather to boot. Around 60 degrees and will probably be the last one until spring. The weather is really going to start going down hill this weekend, and snow, cold next week. Oh well tis the season. I hope I can get in a long run sat. morn before the storm. |

Today I was wanting to do a 15 miler, but I realy got tired of fighting the wind. It was really blowing hard, and it semed no matter which way I was facing I was running into it. So I cut it short and was really worn out from trying to fight the windy day. Oh well it was still a great run and has been a good week of training. See ya next week. |
