12 mile progression run with 1mile WU/CD in 3 mile blocks. The plan was to do 5 progressions but legs started getting really tight and with the fall off in the last one I decided I was probably good. Might run a shake out around lunch time. 1 - 3m /19:57/6:38 goal 6:40 2 - 3m/19:25/6:27 goal 6:30 3 - 3m/18:57/6:18 goal 6:20 4 - 3m/18:46/6:14 goal 6:10 Fell off a bit on the last progression. Struggled through it a bit but was overall happy with today's effort. Stopped on the corner to cheer on the start of the MAD half. Saw Lynette and a few other people I knew. On one of my laps I saw Gray coming through on the full. It was kind of fun to be a casual runner cheering people on. |
