17.35 / 50min Around the world, spinning. I had intentions of running this morning but just could get out of bed. Now that I'm sleeping in a basement where it's dark all the time this could happen a little more than usual.

327 flights / 50 min. The boy at the gym were having a bromance with each other and their muscles again in the mirrors today. I think this was one of their funniest moments, looking lovingly at each others biceps and even a little touching....I almost peed myself laughing. Today I turned 38 as the wonderful birthday text from my bro-lo says you are homeless, injured and old. What a great way to put it!!

Ran with Nikki. After the first mile I looked down at my watch and we were running a 7:45 pace. I almost fell over. Finished in the wind with a 8:16 overall pace. I don't think my wife has ever ran that far, that fast ever. She probably could've went more...

21.22 / 60min. Around the world, Spinning. Today I'm eating only sugar. Last night before bed I ate almost an entire pack of tangy licorice, rainbow chip cake for breakfast and a cupcake for lunch. That is all I've put into my body other than water...I personally think real food is overrated.

Looking forward to this weekends marathons and seeing how friends will do at TCM and STG. I'm personally enjoying being lazy and not worrying about 26.2 or 3.1 for that matter.

312 flights / 45min. Lack luster day. Feeling blah. Thought the workout might brighten things up but it didn't change much. Still feeling blah.

Right now I have about 50 minutes worth of good running fitness after that I can really feel the body start to work. Did a big hill loop this morning and tried to mix some parts of my old routes with where I'm living now. I miss guessed mileage on this by only a mile so not too bad. Blackberry gel does not work well for my stomach.

Legs felt pretty heavy today. Ran a few miles at MP but wasn't feeling very good so I slowed down for a few. Finished last mile up towards fast MP. I had originally planned on spinning today but the one bike in the gym was being used so I opted for a TM run. I felt like my form was crap and that I was putting my feet through the treadmill. Back was really, really tight the whole time.

16.90 / 55 min. Spinning. Legs felt really heavy again today. Was really debating on whether or not to get an x-ray on my ankle yesterday but after rubbing it I decided I'll talk with my old neighbor first. I'm 99% sure it's tendonitis but that 1% it's not and how long this is lingering is messing with me a bit.

240 flight / 45 min; 5K/19:40/6:21. Started out on the stair master then for some reason in the middle of it I decided to finish off with a 5K run at MP. I guess I'm starting to really miss running to have thoughts like this in the middle of the workout.  Running felt good but I once again had to really concentrate on form.

15.90 / 45 min spinning. Legs felt much fresher today.

I just ordered the new Hanson's Marathon training book. I think I will take a good look at it and see if I'll use it for Boston. I'm very intrigued by what I've read of their methods. After doing so many 20 milers before UVM it might be weird to only have a long run of 16 miles.

AM - Ran with Nikki. Windy.

PM - Spinning 17.16 / 50 min. HR was down which surprised me quite a bit. I'm used to seeing it up on faster spins like this. Guess its time to turn up resistance.

270 flights / 45 min on the stair master. Big work change today. So schedule might get a little out of control for a bit. House is finally close and money in the bank. Now I REALLY need to figure out where I'm going to live.

Spinning 40min / 14 miles. Cramped so hard in my right calf I almost puked. Planned on going more but this completely took me out. Eating like crap again today which is probably why I cramped. You figure I know better but for some reason junk food has sounded so good this past few weeks I can't help myself. It's awesome going in but afterwards I feel horrible. I've even had my wife make me this green vegetable shake for breakfast the last two days to try and avoid this but I just have no self control right now. Next thing you know I'll be on the sofa with a six pack of soda, cookies and chips watching Dr. Phil.

Big group run. Fun to talk with everyone. Pace dropped down for a bit and I asked Jeff why we were pushing so much and  he said ya we're supposed to be in the fat and happy stage. Ankle held up ok. Legs felt a little heavy overall.

309 flights / 45 min. Legs felt pretty peppy today. Felt like winter a touch today, I'm praying it's dumping at Targhee. Really debating on whether or not to pull the plug on Boston. I just don't think it's the "right" time or choice for right now. Not sure how the talk will go over with the family. Might have to float Disneyland as an alternative vacation.

15.35 miles / 45 min. Spinning. I have a glimmer of hope this ankle is finally starting to heal. Then I can do more running again.

One more rest day. Resting is probably the hardest thing to do. That's probably why this ankle is lingering so long.

No run. Resting the ankle.

I ate so much sweets last night that I was about sick. Completely falling off the healthy band wagon right now. I haven't eaten that much candy in a long time.
