I want to enjoy the rest of my life and to make the most of it. I believe that staying physically fit is a big part of that. I want to continue to run for the rest of my life and enjoy it.
Personal:
I'm from good ol' Hurricane, UT, but I currently live in Glendale, AZ where I am attending medical school at Midwestern University. I am married with 1 kid at the moment. I love to run, and despise treadmills, but here they are currently a necessity.
Great run down here in SLC. Ran from the house to Wheeler farm. I averaged 8:00/mile over the course of the run. Mile two was actually around 9:00/mile, but I must have made up for it on the last two miles.
I didn't really feel like running today, and it definitely showed. I could hardly get going. I am also getting some weird pain in my gluts. It comes quite sharply on occasion, and it is really annoying.
Great run up on the River Trail today. I have slacked a bit this week, but I was riding my new mountain bike on the days I didn't run. That has to count for something.
So today I decided to go and run the Crimson trail. This was a bit of an adventure. I started off going along the Riverside Nature trail until I hit the east entrance to the Crimson Trail. This was a much steeper route than I anticipated. It was beautiful though. I enjoyed the run along the top, but got a surprise when I got to the exit. The bridge that covers the stream has been removed. Now you either have to risk the flimsy little branches they have placed across the river or wade. I chose to wade the river. That water is COLD. :)
