I want to continue to run for the rest of my life and enjoy it. Personal: I'm from good ol' Hurricane, UT, but I currently live in Glendale, AZ where I am attending medical school at Midwestern University. I am married with 1 kid at the moment. I love to run, and despise treadmills, but here they are currently a necessity. Favorite Blogs: |

| | Today was actually pretty nice. I didn't have much time, so I went for a short run only. I felt like my body was really letting me down because I was out of breath the entire time. However, I ended up running at a pace of 8:33/mile. That was much faster than my marathon pace. |

| | Today's run was about 3.5 miles at 8:34/mile followed by a cool down for the rest of the mileage. It was quick, but doable. In other news I'm developing a bad pain in my left foot. It is right about where my tarsals connect to my metatarsals on the medial side of my foot. I'm not sure if it is because of the marathon a few weeks ago or the fact that I'm not using the ankle brace. My foot may have adjusted to the extra support through my arches. It is getting to the point that I can hardly walk when I first get up in the morning. It gets better through the day, but acts up when I run. Any suggestions? |

| | So this month has been poor for running so far, and this week especially. My son was born on Monday afternoon, so I have been in the hospital with my wife and son all week. Today's run was nice. I did my time on a treadmill. I am pushing a little too quickly right now. I need to back off on my pace. It is killing my distance.

| | Nice run today at 8:58/mile pace. It was quite a nice run, but my calves are getting really sore now. I need to get my mileage back up so I'm not so sore. |

| | Today I started with a one mile warm up followed by some interval training. I did 200m repeats. 0:43, 0:35, 0:45, 0:45, 0:47, then a 0:15 100m to finish off. I completed my run with 1.25mile cool down. It was a great run overall. |
