| | Was trying to go for a long run. Felt kinda sick today, so wasn't at the pace I wanted, but I got it done. | Add Comment |
| | Wasn't feeling to good again, so I didn't run yesterday. Today was better than yeterday, so I went on a run. Not too slow, but not fast yet. Hopefully Monday will be better. | Add Comment |
| | Now that I'm not sick anymore, or atleast enough to do a lot, I went for a good fast run. My first mile my sock was having problems and wasn't staying on my foot. It was going into the buttom of my shoe to my toe. After the first mile I was sick of it, so after my first mile, where I lost some elevation, I had to go back, change the socks, and go and run some more. My first two miles were in 5:05 and 5:43(due to the downhill and uphill). Later I did 3 more miles where I lost some elevation, but still averaged a 5:30. Then I did a 6:10 or something close to that cool down last mile. And then a little more actually cooling down cool down. | Add Comment |
| | When I came home from school, I was really hungry and my mom had just baked a bunch of bread. I ate a half a loaf, and that didn't agree with my run. I felt sick, and had to stop twice. Did the first two miles at a pretty good pace, 5:45 | Add Comment |
| | Ate pretty terrible before this run, and felt terrible the last mile. | Add Comment |
| | Around the block. 5- miles | Add Comment |
| | Did two 4mile sets. first was in 23:29, and second was in 23:17. I wish I could've gone faster, but I still felt like crap from being sick. If this doesn't get better soon, my running times are gonna go way down in races. | Add Comment |
| | Weather was amazing, I ate lunch today. Didn't feel that sick, only had to blow my nose a few times today. I had to get 5 miles fast for the first time in a while. Ran hard, and pushed myself, especially on the last mile. Did a 5:28 average, my goal was to get 5:30 or under, so I'm happy. I think I'm ready for the Simplot. | Add Comment |

Simplot games 3200 (2 Miles) 00:09:40, Place overall: 6, Place in age division: 4 | | Did a warm up on the track, then did another with Jerrel after the track closed. Get ready for the race, and went to the starting line. I was in the first heat with Dallin Farnsworth, Jerrel Mock, and Ben Sarrel. I wasn't even planning on getting in the front ever during it, but nobody started a fast pace after the first lap or two, so I went out in front and led the race for a few laps. Dallin and Ben I think just wanted to qualify, and then kick it at the race Saturday. Later they both passed me and Finished 8 seconds ahead of me. At the end I didn't see anyone behind my on the big screen, so I stopped at the finish, and was passed by someone who beat me by .14 seconds. How sad, but that was just the preliminaries. I qualified, and so did Jerrel, while he was sick, he didn't think he was going to, but he still did. | Comments(2) |

Simplot 3200 championships (2 Miles) 00:09:45, Place overall: 7, Place in age division: 7 | | Did a warm up by myself, stretched and got ready. I was sooo nervous, and I think that messed me up. I was hoping to get a PR, but didn't make it. We started out and I tried keeping up with the pack, but lost it after the first mile(4:45) and slowed down because I didn't have anyone to pace with. I think I could've pushed it a lot at the second mile, but I just didn't becuase I couldn't catch up to anyone to help me keep a good pace, and I couldn't keep a good pace without someone else. At the second to last lap Dallin Farnsworth was going to lap me, or getting close, so I went in the second lane to not get in his way, he was shooting for the Meet Record, and he didn't pass me. I later got paced by someone and outsprinted them at the last 60 meters, which I'm surprised about, by .05 seconds. | Comments(2) |
| | Went on a 5-mile tempo run. Felt alright, but tried to go fast. Ran a cool down mile with my brother and dog after. | Add Comment |
| | Pretty much the exact thing as yesterday, except I felt better. Same pace, around 5:50 or a bit lower. Cool down with dog after. | Add Comment |
| | Was going to go easy with some XC guys, but never caught up to them due to the fact that I have to go to North Cache and my bus gets to SV late. Tried to catch up to them, but was always going at a fast pace and never did. They had 15 minutes on me I heard later, which is a lot different then I thought they had. | Add Comment |
| | Was going to go easy and long, but just felt too darn good to go easy. Had a pretty good pace the first 6 miles, but after that I didn't feel as good, and so I slowed down the last two miles. | Add Comment |
| | Made sure I went slow and easy. | Add Comment |
| | Went on a fast tempo run. Went for fast distance. I didn't time it, but I felt amazing, so I think I went fast. | Add Comment |

| | 45 degrees, but with a 25 mph wind and snow it isn't as warm. Needed to relax my calves. Went a little above a 6 minute mile. | Add Comment |
