Bovine Syncline Loop today

(Baby Baldy Peak to Bovine Syncline Trail to Providence Quarry and down the normal trail)

Great loop to hit before work.

Erik and I went for a sweet loop from Tony Grove.  At first it was easy as we headed to White Pine Lake.  No big deal.  Then we headed out of the bowl from the northwest corner of the lake gaining the main ridge  between White pine and High Creek.  Hit peak 9828' and followed the ridge with some rock climbing  involved to Mt. Naomi.  Then we attempted to follow the main trail back to TG but missed a few turns while glissading.  I was tired today during that run.  Super cool, but I was slow.

Another awesome route today.  Tony Grove - White Pine Lake - Mt. Gog (9714') - Loop around Mt. Gog on a faint trail back to White Pine Trail - Tony Grove.  Fun stuff with Mike and Erik. 

The bad news was my leg was bugging me (behind the knee) and got really bad out there running.  I decided to take Friday and Saturday off to let it heal.  Today (sat) it feels 90% better.
