Legs are finally feeling good.  My 1.5 day taper is just right.  I got out for 5 easy miles (with 4 striders).

Goals for the race -

Primary goal - PR (sub - 1:16)

Bonus goal - sub 1:15 (should be within my grasp)

Bonus bonus goal - don't get chicked :)

I was thinking- if you wanted, you could pace Michelle at SGM for the first half, which should help you be a bit under pace and her a bit over, then take off for the second half.

Good luck tomorrow!

Jon- That not getting chicked goal is not as easy as it seems. Sounds like a legit goal....I still would bet that Michelle's time at Hobble will be faster than mine at TOU. Will that count as being chicked? What do you think Michelle? You game?

As for SGM, I haven't thought about that approach. Michelle may not want my "help" . What time would she want to go through the half? I don't want to be slower than 1:20-1:21. Food for thought though...

Dale- Thanks, it should be great weather (knock on wood)..I am getting excited.

Good luck tomorrow, knock it dead and get that bonus time!

Your straight up time crushed Michelle, so no worries.
