Golden Gate Bridge run.  Started at the Hotel and ran down to the piers.  I then followed the shoreline over to the Golden gate bridge state park.  There are some nice gravel trails over that way.  Cool area.  I made my way up the bridge and experienced a tremendous view. The top of the bridge was covered in fog and the sun was rising over my right shoulder.  The large barges were passing under me.  Awesome.  I ran across the bridge and turned back.  I noticed that I was running late so I kept the pace hard back to the hotel.  I ended up running 5 miles at sub 6:30 pace and most closer to 6:15.  The rest of the miles were sub 7 effort (a few miles were pretty steep).  Great run.  It felt good to sweat out the garlic and grease.  Time to eat better now.

Total time: 1:35:30 (6:49 ave) 157 ave

Too bad you didn't take Paul with you so he could have been snapping pictures the whole way.

Your runs this week make me feel better about my injury break- you only ran 11 miles in the 2 days I took off.

Yea, I am having a crappy week for mileage. I am worried about my knee thing anyway. It is not getting better and I am now limping slightly when I walk.

Yeah those fries are good but there's a price to pay. I tasted garlic in everything I ate for a week. If your downtown walking around in the evening there is a little band called Sinclair that plays on the corners....They are amazing. I watched them play for like 2 hours one night, and then had to buy a CD from them. Good Stuff.
