Bear 100 - 4th Place - 21:05

3rd time is the charm on this race.  First (2012) ended up as a disaster (4 days in hospital), Second was salvageable (23:37), Third was rough, but solid.  Sometimes, you have to be persistant and keep at it!  Record high temps (93 in SLC).  Hottest Bear yet.  I managed to stay on top of it (barely) and could push harder once it cooled off at night.

Special Thanks to my amazing crew (Beth and Kids) and pacers Keegan, Corey, and Erik!

Gonna put some thoughts down on the blog this week.

congrats.

just read your 2012 report -- i had no idea that had happened. wow. i like that you went back and did it again, and then again even faster. i still can't quite grasp running 100 miles in one go, but i love reading the stories that come out of them. brutal!

Best news I've read on the blog in a long time. Congrats Cody and take some time to savor the accomplishment.
