Easy recovery run this morning. I was racing/dodging the lightning and nasty thunderstorms. Very entertaining to see all the lightning though. I was super tired and even a bit tight/sore from yesterday.

PM: Bike ride with Corey.  We rode up Blacksmith fork canyon from the house to Hyrum city park.  It was supposed to be easy-medium but I was pretty tired and it felt hard.  Tough ride.  160-170 bpm up the canyon.  150-160 bpm down.  Enjoyed a nice dinner with Beth after.

Nice training today, and I'm glad the lightning bolts didn't hit you. Maybe your ride was tough too if you were riding in a headwind. What type of shifters do you have on your bike Shimano 105's, Ultrega, or Dura race?

Kory-

I have Shimano 105's on the front and Ultregras on the rear. Are you liking your new bike? What kind did you get?

I really like my new bike it's been great, and I'm saving a lot of gas. I got a Specialized Tarmac Elite 2008 road bike 20 speed. Around 17 pounds, its pretty much race ready for triathlons. I would like to update the shifters, crank set, to dura race someday though.
