DC loop this morning. Really seemed to drag. I didn't feel too bad but the run would never end!

P.M. B-hills extended through the Secret St tonight.  87 F in the shade and it felt hot out. I was glad to get this one done. I'm not sure how I'll make it through the summer. It's gonna suck.

Running in the heat is definitely a very hard thing. I run in the evening in the summertime here in Utah County a lot. Just to give my body some heat training. I think it really helped me. So on the bright side, you would do well in a cooler climate race.

You are speedy. WOWZA! (just looked over your PR's). Impressive.

Thanks!

Running in the heat just gets old. It seems to take 5 times the effort and motivation that the same run in the winter takes. This will be my 8th summer of marathon training in St. George and I think I get less tolerant each year.

True I do race well in a cooler climate but most of the time to get a cooler climate I have to Up the elevation. My house is at 2,600 ft and even running in norther Utah I feel a pinch in the lungs.

Ugh! I bet! Are you going to run St. George this year?

Yeah. If you live in STG you basically have to run the marathon here:)
