11 mile morning loop

5 miles this evening

Did a nice morning run-pretty much my old big loop trail but a little shorter. Felt really good the whole run. It was nice and cool out and just beautiful this morning.

Afternoon run was a quicky before going ot Olive Garden. If I had to rate the two- I'd say going to Olive Garden was way harder on my body than the 5 miler.

have you ever heard of backing off before a marathon?

Clyde - remember that many a race have been lost at a dinner table as well as many other places you normally would not think would have much to do with running. Every little thing you do makes either a positive or a negative contribution to your performance. It is a very complex process, sometimes one negative thing does not break it, but two combined do, same with the positive - one does not do much, but two or three result in a breakthrough. You never know which straw will break the camel's back, and you never know which building block will prove critical to running really well. In order to succeed you accentuate the positive, hang on to the affirmative, eliminate the negative, and do not mess with Mr. In Between.

Sasha-

Olive Garden was hard on me because they forgot my wife and mother-in-laws food and we had to wait for an extra hour. Other than that the food was great and good for me.
