12.5 mile run this morning. Basically the same run as I've been doing up around the new overpass. I just did one section a little different and it made it a little longer. I felt pretty good and just ran whatever felt good. It was pretty muddy on the dirt parts so that made the going even slower. I picked up a small head cold this weekend that I'd like to get rid of ASAP.

7.5 mile run this afternoon on the treadmill. I've been home all day still feeling pretty sick but talked myself into doing a run as long as I stayed inside. I'm glad I stayed in. It turned into a white-out hail storm out side and I would have been right in the middle of it.

The workout was pretty good after a warm-up I dropped it down to 6:30 min/mile pace and just listened to the music.

Trust me running in a hail storm is no fun. That's what happened to me this morning. Very nice runs Clyde, good high mileage days. I hope your head cold gets better quick.

Kory- I'm guessing you guys have had some horrible winter weather the last week or so? Just hang in there and spring will come faster than you know it.

Clyde: It's pretty much like this every winter. I can handle the snow, but we get a lot of drifting snow here which makes it difficult. I can handle the negative degree weather as long as there's no wind.

The wind is what really makes it the worst in the winter here. Pocatello, always as a wind no matter what time of year it is. But like you said just hang in there till spring. Thanks.
