DC loop. Ankle was super sore most of the day yesterday. Iced, IB'd, and tried to rub it out. Woke up and it still hurt but felt better. I put a heat patch on it and went out for the run. Managed to get through it but felt flat throughout. If I felt above average last week coming off a marathon. This week I'm back to reality. Just trying to get through the week.
9.6 miles tonight at the DC with the club. 6:22 avg. Just kept it smooth with no big pick up at the end. Had to stop at the restrooms in B-hills where three of us needed quick relief. Sad for me because I haven't made it through a run all week without having a blowout. The real reason I run the DC loop so much.... there's 4 toilets on the 10 mile loop. Lots of options for a man in need.
