10.1 mile morning run up and around the overpass. The legs were not tight at all from last nights speed. Ran smooth and easy and just slipped in front of the 7 min guy to end the run at an avg of 6:59 pace.

(Landreth 61.4)

10 mile run with the club tonight. For the most part I just felt blah. But then around mile 8 I realized I could still beat the 7 min guy if I worked for it. So started inching up the pace and passed him. Ended up finishing at 6:58 pace.

Nice workout after your great tempo run last night. 83 degrees and you cruised down the road. I bet you were thirsty afterwards, nice work again. Definitely training a lot of downhill will increase your turn over rate in your legs.

Nice miles! I had the same motivation as you tonight. I was on the elliptical, feeling kinda sluggish. All of the sudden, I realized, hey, I can beat the 20 minute guy! A quick burst, I got him by a nose! Hey, (JK) I am kinda bored, if you couldn't tell. Great job on your miles this week. I am looking forward to running with the club again soon. Until then, the 20 min guy better watch out!
