| | Decathlon. It was rough and I had to leave early. I decided that I literally have very little natural athletic ability whatsoever. The only reason I'm where I am in distance running is all the hard work I've put in to get there.

| | Wanting to start running again. Went out this evening for 4 or 5. My lower back hurt like it never has before. It was weird. I felt like all the strength and stability is gone. I felt good, but the back was killing me. I cut it short and only did 3 miles. 19:22, so 6:28 pace.

| | Didn't get any time to really workout at all. Spent all my time trying to get the Senior Gift done before the bbq. The frame/track turned out looking awesome but we are going to redo the pictures

| | I really needed to get out and run today, but wasn't sure how well I was going to do. I decided I was going to force myself to run a little slower than I would normal to see if it helped my back. It hurt during the first mile, but after I stopped and did some dynamic stretching it didn't bother me much. It was windy. I just tried to stay relaxed. I think that the crazy downhill last week is what did it. I also think running fast the other day might have aggravated things as well. I was feeling pretty good and was able to do 6 miles. 41:37 total time, so 6:56 average.

| | I ran on the trail today to avoid up and down. I was against the wind all the way out. The back did alright after I warmed up, but started to bother me the last mile going out. Coming back there was dull pain most the way. I was running faster than yesterday though so that could have been part of the difference. I feel good running, I've just got to get this back thing better. 46:52 total, 6:42 average.
