| | Ran 4 miles ish in Warrenton. I went out at normal pace. I decided it wasn't a long run so I might as well push it. I figure I probably ran at least the last third sub 6 minute pace. My back hurt but it felt good

| | Easy day in Portland. I ran to the Community College and they had a nice track hidden in the trees. I mostly ran around the technical trails next to it. I did a couple 200s at the end and they weren't that fast. I think it might have been a 440 track

| | Went to XC just to see how things were and to run with Nick and Jeffe one last time. Warmed up easy. I ran 5 miles with Zach at 7 minute pace. I went fast the last 600 or so to try and pull Fessler and this other kid through the finish. did a little barefoot cooldown way after

| | My body is pretty tired and I got up early to get the run in. The first couple of miles were really slow. My legs felt like they didn't have the strength. Ended up averaging 6:51

| | Went out in the evening because I slept in. I did my five mile loop backwards. I was pretty bored during it but felt alright. Starting to feel a little stronger. 6:43 average, so more like my old self. After I went out and biked for around 20 minutes to try and bring some more leg strength and aerobic fitness back.

| | Ran naked today because I wanted it easy if I could make it be easy. I think I ran about how I normally would, not really slower. No breaks whatsoever. Felt pretty decent the strength seemed a little better. Still lacking speed though

| | It was a rough day for me today. I was planning on doing six. I started and my legs felt really tired. I did drills and that didn't even help. My breathing was feeling really wacky as well. I ended up stopping multiple times throughout the run because I didn't have it or feel good at all. I averaged 6:45, but the way I felt is not what I want.

| | I was really happy with today. I've been frustrated but realized that the pace isn't bad because last year at this time I was running these same paces. I enjoy long runs and had a solid one today. I got looking back at outdoor season and I ran well as long as I kept doing the long runs. I really do thrive on them. I did 9 miles averaging 6:49. Felt pretty good and really negative split. I was reflecting on Simplot and my good races. After the 9 I did an easy mile to cooldown

| | Didn't feel great today. I had side ache/cramps the whole last half which stunk. I could tell my legs weren't moving very fast. I averaged 6:53s. I just want to get back to feeling good when I run.

| | Wasn't motivated to run when I got up so ended up going later this morning. It was raining and I didn't want to fight it so I stayed inside on the treadmill and watched an episode of the District while I did my workout, which was good I think. I did some warmup and then did 4x5min segments with 2-2.5 minutes running recovery inbetween. I would guess they were around 6 minute pace or a little faster. I felt pretty good overall. The last one was tough. Had some pain in the left hip/back towards the end. Cooldown after.

| | Just went out and ran this morning. Felt pretty good, the legs were a little sore and probably slightly sluggish. I felt fairly good. I ran about 5.5 miles normal and then jogged around for a cooldown. Not sure what the pace was. It felt good the last 2.5 miles. Almost got attacked by some birds at one point, that was exciting.

| | Had 10 planned, but it didn't happen. I felt pretty good once I got going. Around 4 miles in my left hip flexor really started to hurt and I also had some pain in my ankle tendonitis. I stopped and stretched, things were really tight. The hip flexor was still hurting, so I decided I better stop with 8 miles, and spend some time stretching and foam rolling rather than run more and make it worse. Other than that I felt better than I have lately, so it was a bittersweet run. Averaged 6:45 pace, so that was better too.

| | Did something I've been wanting to do for a long time. Went up to the track for a workout. Warmed up better than I have since the region track meet, haha.. I changed into my kinvaras and did some strides. Then I started into my 20x400s. I started running opposite direction and hitting 80s. It wasn't bad at first. I started to hit around 78s around 7-10. After 10 I got some water and changed into my matumbos. Then I went into my last ten. Slowest ones were 77-78 I think. The 16-19 were all around 5 minute pace, and then on my last one I busted out a 69. All of my recoveries were right on 60 seconds other than after 10 when I changed shoes. Had some back pain but it never slowed me down, probably because I was only doing 400s. Did an easy 11 minute cooldown and then stretched. Felt like my old self.

| | Trail run with the xc team. Ran 6 easy conversation pace with Zach. Aerobically it was super easy but I think it was good for the legs. Calfs really sore after.

| | Long run. It was hot. I still had my left hip flexor tighten up. First 5 averaged about 7 flat and second 5 was around 6:40. About 6:50 average. Not bad, but not where I was early spring that's for sure. Oh well, best long run yet....

| | warmed up with they team, so not a full warmup. I changed into kinvaras. Then I did not a complete workout but it was still good and will hopefully help for friday. I ran 4xmile with 1-2 minutes recovery (based on feel). I went high 5:30s on the first three and closed in a 5:30. It was pretty solid. Then I changed into shoes and ran just over a mile out and met Zach, Bella, and Rob coming back. I ran their last two 500s with them. The first was a 1:51. Rob and I pushed the last 200 meters to try and really pull Bella along, I ran 1:41 on that one. After this week I'd be fine to just run with Bella in workouts, haha. Short barefoot cooldown with Zach. Abs (kinda) for the first time in a long time.
