Did something I've been wanting to do for a long time. Went up to the track for a workout. Warmed up better than I have since the region track meet, haha.. I changed into my kinvaras and did some strides. Then I started into my 20x400s. I started running opposite direction and hitting 80s. It wasn't bad at first. I started to hit around 78s around 7-10. After 10 I got some water and changed into my matumbos. Then I went into my last ten. Slowest ones were 77-78 I think. The 16-19 were all around 5 minute pace, and then on my last one I busted out a 69. All of my recoveries were right on 60 seconds other than after 10 when I changed shoes. Had some back pain but it never slowed me down, probably because I was only doing 400s. Did an easy 11 minute cooldown and then stretched. Felt like my old self.
