I warmed up inside to try and get things to loosen up. I felt pretty good and was ready to go. The race went out crazy fast. I was like 63-64 through the first 400 and way off the leaders... It got worse from there. I couldn't hold on. I fought really hard but that last 600 was brutal. I ran through the line. I don't know that I've ever hurt like that. EVerything hurt afterwards. I gave it my all, but I gave it my best. Unfortunately it's not what I am capable of. Official time was 4:37.00 so a half second PR, but still not satisfying. I did a long cooldown and then a little stretching.
