Ran 7.75 on the mill today. Got progressively faster with each mile. Did a mile warm up then splits were 8:00, 7:30, 7:12, 7:00, 6:55 6:42. (7:13 avg) .75 cool down.
Moderate run..Ran on the mill. Did 1.0 warm up. Then did a workout of 8x400m hills with a flat 400 meter in between. The hills were set to a 5.0 incline and I started the first one at a 7:45 pace and then with each interval after that I got progressively faster to finish the last one at a 7:15 pace. I kept the flat 400s at the same pace as the previous hill pace. Felt good-I need to do more hill workouts.
