Did my normal 6.5 loop in 7:06 pace. Felt ALOT better than Monday-but this pace still felt harder to me than it should have...Hopefully slowly but surely I can ease back into hard training...Right now I just feel I need to take it easy for a little bit and maybe my mojo will come back.. (Though I know I can't take it ez for too long since the marathon is 11 weeks from Saturday)

When you take a break, sometimes it takes a few days to get the rhythm back. A body at rest prefers to stay at rest :-) It'll come back, and its not like you returned to "baseline" by taking a week off... so you have lots of time to get in quality training for UVM

7:06 is a very, very good easy pace. i don't claim i've lost my mojo until i'm running 10:06 pace. you are doing fine :)

LOL Allie! That is true. I don't think I ever run that pace for fun, but I also haven't ran a 2:50 marathon. I know when I can't get the TM to go past 6.5 MPH and that feels hard, I am chasing the Mojo bus.

Thanks guys! Your comments make me feel better! I'm sure if I slowly ease back into hard training I will be fine!

Jake-Thanks for the comment-(you always have great advice for everyone) and as you said I'm sure I can still get some quality training in even after a little break!

Allie-Haha-lol-I am sure you have never ran a 10:06 pace-you are much too speedy for that.

Tara-I'm sure you never run at 6.5 mh either:) btw-your poem about sick kids cracked me up-I can relate!

Melody-Yeah I'm going to check into the iron thing..(my appt is Monday)btw-you are killing it in workouts lately-I think you are peaking at just the right time for Boston!
