Short-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up, and just become a consistant runner again.

Run to run and be my best. Just enjoy it, and stop comparing myself to others running abilities, because it definitely discourages me!

Long-Term Running Goals:

To enjoy a very long life of running!

Break 6 min in the mile

Break 12 min in the 3200M

Break 20 min in the 5k

break 2 hours in the 1/2

Personal:

College Sophomore at SUU.

Majoring in Psychology and Sports Medicine.

Hope to be able to Coach one day, and show kids my love for running and inspire them to reach goals and do hard things they never thought they could do. I want others to feel how I feel about running.

what an adventure!!!!! Seriously. But it was soo fun :) Me and Sierra went out from her house down to nissons and Jumped on this trail that we have ran passed all season but never knew what was on it so we decided to find out. And find out we did. It was about a minute trail in each direction and that was it. Sorta LAMEE. From Nissons we went up to dog pound road and down and then turned at the bottom towards washington fields. We went down there and decided to jump onto the path alongside the river. It was fun but it ended soon to so we turned off into a neighborhood. We ran through that and came out on the other end and started heading down farther into washington fields past the 2 church buildings and into a neighborhood. I had stomache issues the whole time and it started getting way bad! Ha it was kind of funny but we stopped at a random ladies house and used her bathroom. Then we kept going all the way down to the end of Sandia I think it was called and stopped at the church right there which made 8.1. Ha it was such and adventure but so fun and legs didnt hurt at all. I am excited for big miles next week!!! :)

Probably a little more than six... It hurt soooo good! Sometimes I have those sort of runs where it all hurts but its like a good kind of hurt that motivates you to keep going cause you can feel yourself getting stronger!! We went TOO fast though, I was just trying to keep pace with Micci, but she doesn't have THE BEAST work out tomorrow so she was FLYING and at the end I finally just let go. MICCI is a maniac! ha but it was a good run! :)

THE BEAST.

I don't know how I feel about the workout today yet. I was pushing myself SOOOO hard but my legs were shot.. I was disappointed cause I couldn't stick with Sierra during the second set.. Kind of discouraging. Just one of those days I guess.

Dead legs.... STILL. Gooodness! I was dead all the way up except for the hill of course thats my strongest point... but then on the way back coming out of greensprings ethan caught me and asked me to run with him.. Ha he probably slowed down tons but I kept up. It hurt but he definately saved me that last half..... we were going fast. When we got back we raced in and then I realized i still had striders.. Ha but striders felt strong.. I hope I get my legs back soon!

Much better! Not completely... The way out there sucked pretty bad but on the way back things started to work again and it was a nice run.. I was so tempted to run 3 with the other girls today since we aren't going to nike any more but I did the 5 and I'm so happy I did!!!!! I am so disappointed that were not going though. That isn't fair for them to do that. Especially to our boys team who deserves to be down there and show what they can do!

A little more than 8. It was a good run... It wasn't a super fast pace but I just went out to enjoy the run... It was good to just relax and run for a fun run.

When I woke up this morning I didn't even know if I wanted to run today. for one I still don't know if were going to nike.. two I didn't fell good. And three I knew I was going to have to run it on my own cause I didn't have a way to get out to run with sierra! :( so when I headed out the door for my run I said... Maybe four.. Then I told myself to not be lazy and at the least do the five loop. THEN i yelled at myself some more and said if today is a long run day you should atleast go 7 and then I decided to run up and back down the back of that big telegraph hill to add a mile onto it making it like 8.1...

5 Out onto the trail.. I am so frustrated my achiles hurts way bad. I went and talked to mark and he said it looks like I just pulled something. He did some fancy dancy tape job thats suppose to last a couple days so we'll see how it works.. Arghh!!! Sorry sierra for slowing you down!!!

:( Soo lame.. I found out today that this achilies thing was more serious than i thought. I thought I was just going to have to cut the miles down a little bit but when I went and talked to mark today he told me I couldnt run at all for a couple days.... this sucks. oh well :(

Went up to the state semi finals game... But I think I am going to try and do a TINY bit tomorrow cause thats all mark said i could do.. I'm done with this no running thing!!

Yay!!! I'm finally back.. Sorta.. Ha all I did was three today.. Sierra REALLY needed new shoes so I went with her to get some and then we came back and ran a three.. Ha It felt good in my legs.... I had like 4 side aches and shoulder pains but thats probably just from not running so I got to get back into it AGAIN.. But I'm excited my leg didn't hurt... Three again tomorrow unless Mark lets me go farther!! :)

Soo lame. I went and talked to mark and told my ankle was a little stiff again and he taped me up and said I should cut back and I was so frustrated cause I wanted to just go far and not listen but I knew I should but It took all my will power to turn around WAY early.. Only 2.5 or a little more today. I ran super fast today to sort of make up for not going far and I sprinted fence in... It was wierd being done so early :) Iced and stretched and that was it..

3 AGAIN. I am so ready for distance again... Rachel said a couple days ago to the rest the freshman that the days you don't feel like running always turn out to be the best runs.. Well today was testimony to that. I really didn't want to run.. It was just me and Rachel.. No one else was there.. And I could only go 3 in the first place so I was like darn whats the point... But I went out with Rachel and I forgot how much I love running with her.. It was the best run I've had this winter training... Maybe thats just cause I almost have a handle on my breathing again and my legs didn't hurt.. It was way fast and felt good!! I hope I can run with her AND sierra a lot more this winter.. SIERRA I MISSED YOU!! :(

Good pace four with Rachel again out to chuckarama... It was an awesome pace and breathing is ALMOST there.. I am enjoying running again and I'm working my way up to the miles! I'm excited! :)

Out to AC and back fast before I leave for thanksgiving.. Took Sierra's watch with me! it was fun even though i was alone! :( ha I'm excited for some mountain running! :)

I'm up north in scofield right now so I drove down with my aunt to price cause she was running some errands and I thought maybe it would be a tiny bit warmer down the mountain. . So she dropped me off and I found the signal on the watch and took off but the watch was confusing so I didnt get my exact miles but it was probably actually closer to 7. But it was way fun.. So i was wrong about it being warmer down in price.. about a mile into it it started to sprinkle and then It started to snow and then the snow came like crazy! I ran past a sign that said it was like 44 degrees outside and then I ran past again and it was 34 ha it was soo cold and soo fun! I had to go all over the place cause that town was so small I probably saw pretty much the entire town twice! ha And I bet everyone and their dog saw me running!! Good average pace the whole way through!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Mountain run today.. Big down hill... Then some flat and slight up hill... then HUGE up hill all the way back. I think I'm getting sick or something cause I had nothing left at the end of that run and I felt sick and dizzy and a throbbing head ache. Ha the sad thing is I only feel good WHILE i'm running but when I'm done its miserable!! good run though.. and a pretty good pace even with the massive hills!

Ha today I realized I'm a wierdoo... The family went bowling so I went with and bowled a game and then took off FROM the bowling alley and went running.. hahaha anything to get my fix right... ha it was way fun and way fast!!! :) and i didnt feel as sick after which was nice!

hmm.. So i seem to be the only one in my family able to keep my little sister under control so I spent a lot of the afternoon when it was perfect to go running holding my sister.. So when i actually got out there it was getting dark and it was way cold like 34... so It sucked and I started getting sick and dizzy so I had to cut it way short... :( I'm ready to go HOME!!
