Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run 3-4 days a week, and increase the mileage on my long run each week.

Long-Term Running Goals:

In 2009 I would like to do 2 half marathons and 1 sprint triathlon.

Personal:

I have always been athletic, but started running more seriously at the start of 2007. I had to take a few months off in the summer and fall. I had twins boys in Oct 2007 (hence the time off). I lost a lot of weight when I had them, but managed to gain some of it back. We have a double stroller, which is the hardest workout when I take the boys for a jog.

I thought today would be a hard day because my kids kept me up for a couple of hours EARLY in the morning. But overall it was not that bad. I got up, went to work, got home, played with the kids, and when my hubby got home, I asked if I could go for a run. He wanted to go too, and run to the house we will be moving in to VERY shorlty. So we left the kids with his brother and ran about a half of a mile to the house, stopped for a while to figure out where to place furnature (an endless battle). Then we ran the 1/2 mile home. Not a long run for me, but I pushed it hard and tried to run fast, it felt real good!!!
