| | 10k in 57 minutes and change, nice relaxing run. | Add Comment |
| | I didn't have a great desire to go running, I was still tired and it was hot. I drove to the lake and started at very slow pace, after 1 mile a met a friend coming in the opposite direction he was finishing his last 7k going at 5:00/k, I went with him and things were much better. When I was left alone I kept going even faster and finished 10 miles in 1:17:55. I was satisfied considering I didn't think it was possible to go faster the 6:00/k at the start. | Add Comment |
| | Another long day at work, 8 miles at whatever pace for 7 miles, during the last mile I felt good and went almost all out. I have done the last mile in less than 6:00. | Add Comment |

| | I am back to my normal routine and routes around the lake. Two more stressfull days at work and then I will have some more relaxing time. I did 8 slow miles, nothing special. | Add Comment |

I had a weird pain on the lateral side of my right foot (it developed throughout the day), it doesn't sound like my "usual" low level plantar fascitis. I had company tonight so I decided to go running anyway and keep it short and easy, my friend was running for the first time in over two years, so he was the perfect companion. We did 5 miles at really slow pace.
Thirty minutes after finishing the pain was much worse and I was limping. I put ice and took NSAID, I hope it will improve.

Since last wednesday I cannot walk without limping and I spend most of the day at work avoiding walking. At home I keep my
foot in a ice/water bath. After almost a week without running and my right foot still in pain, in spite of rest, ice and NSAID, in the next few days I am going to have a X-ray hoping that the stress fracture is not there and it is just a bad tendonitis, that eventually will fo away.
At least when I will start running again I will be fully recharged and rested.
