I don't know if I was feeling "frisky" today, or the competitive nature in me jumped into gear, but I killed almost 15 mins off my time this morning.  Every time I bike I end up  sharing the road with two other bikers that always lose me :o(.  {They are on road bikes and I am on a mountain bike...  the physics just isn't on my side}.  Well this morning, one of the two bikers must have dropped something, so they both stopped, and I flew past them.  Then I spent the next 2.5 or 3 miles riding as fast as I could to keep my lead.  When I got to my turn, I looked back and saw them coming.  I turned and started heading up hill, and I got to a point where I thought I was going to have a heart attack (okay, maybe not that bad), so I looked back, and they were no where in sight.  I'm a dork, they must have turned the other direction, and here I was all parinoid that they were going to fly by me at anytime.   It's kind of funny, but I sure did get a good work out this morning.  :o)

Great job on your ride! It's funny where you get your motivation sometimes, isn't it? Made me smile.

Camille you are awesome! Isn't that the best feeling when you work so hard and finally you feel like people aren't flying past you!? Great job, seriously, the first time I finally ran past someone I felt like I could do anything! Yesterday I had this guy run past me in like 2 seconds and I was like oh dangit. haha Keep it up! :)

Lybi - I'm glad I made you smile! :o)

Camilla - Thanks! I know the feeling, when I'm passing people I feel like "queen" of the hill, but being passed... man that bites. It makes me feel like I'm running backwards or in slow motion.
