Well, I still haven't run any miles.  I'm thinking about going for a slow, easy jog tomorrow and see what that does for me in preparation for the "race" on Saturday.  I call it the "race" now because I won't really be racing.  I may be walking, but I still plan to participate, and I still think it will be a good time.

In the meanwhile, my slave driver of a co-worker has *forced* me to go up and down the stairs today about 100 times.  Burt.... you are so evil!!!  LOL  This morning my leg didn't hurt, but it does now.  I can definitely feel it.  Maybe that's good though... I mean sometimes you have to fight fire with fire right?  Okay, maybe not.  Perhaps I should listen to the wise people who have told me to take it easy, ice, and relax!  Hmmm...

Tell Burt to take a hike!!! And you take the elevator!

Have fun no matter what on Saturday, that is what it is all about!

From montelepsy on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 04:23:06

I vote that you take it easy.

From Burt on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 11:18:26

You should have seen how hard I pushed her when she was pregnant. And Kelli, a hike doesn't sound like a bad idea. A hill workout could do me good.

From Camille on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 17:19:25

He is evil, I tell you... evil! When I was pregnant, he made me carry the heavy plans, up the stairs, barefoot, in the snow. It was awful!

I listened to your advice Mike, and took it easy!

Hey Camille-

I hope you took it easy enough and you are feeling GREAT for the race tomorrow. I think participating even if you can't run is exactly the right thing to do. I'm sure you will still have a good time.

And I've noticed this is one injury we haven't seen a picture of. Not going to post one? :)

From camille on Fri, Nov 07, 2008 at 21:30:43

LOL Rachel. If I post a picture of this injury, Sasha would probably kick me off the blog. I don't think it would be family appropiate :o) actully, there is nothing to see. And, the pain is really in my leg now.

Why did you show up to work barefoot?! Sounds like Burt went too easy on you. Your disregard for the workplace must be dealt with.

From Camille on Sat, Nov 08, 2008 at 17:32:53

I *HAD* shoes... but the evil person that he is... he stole them. Saying something about pregnant woman needing to be barefoot. Totally joking. Though Burt *May* say something like that, he normally wouldn't mean it. (though I have a feeling I may be in for it when I get back to the office)

From Burt on Sat, Nov 08, 2008 at 21:14:30

I once told her, and this is no lie, that when a woman gets pregnant, her hips spread to open up the birth canal, and they never go back. Of course that was right when I found at she was pregnant. But right before that she had lost a lot of "butterball" weight. Funny how women get pregnant when they lose weight.

From camille on Sat, Nov 08, 2008 at 21:19:12

burt - you aren't being 100% honest are you? you found out I was pregnant and responded "that explains why your hips are spreading". You guys see what I have to put up with?
