| | I went running with JulieC today for my first run of the year. Nothing like last year's adventure, but enjoyed the company. My legs are still sore from Saturday. But if I get a little more consistent, I should be able to get my fitness back to where I want it.

| | Lifted rocks all day at work. In fact, between 4 of us, we lifted 7 tons. After work I played basketball for an hour and a half, Brotherson style. |

| | More rocks, but I got to lift sandbags today, too. So that was nice. |

Today I used a new App to track my mileage. Runkeeper. It seemed to be right on. It was really dark out this morning. It was kind of creepy running along the canal, but it's amazing how I can zone out and live inside my head. I was just thinking about my Ragnar team and how we need to get our volunteers lined up. Before I knew it, I was back home. 8 more tons of rock (I mean asphalt chunks.)

| | I went to Glen the Gazelle's house this morning at 6:30am. Then we went to my favorite run up Usery Pass. We saw another truck parked where we normally park with a Ragnar sticker on its window. We figured another runner must be out running up the only hill within 50 miles of us. Little did I know that it was my neighbor that lives directly behind me, Mike King. I saw him running back down at about mile 2. Next time we'll plan better so that we can carpool. I wanted to see which of my new Apps worked the best at measuring my run. So I ran Endomondo and Runkeeper at the same time. The results were fantastic. According to Runkeeper, I ran 18.32 miles at a 4:21 pace. Endomondo said I ran 13.98 6:28 miles at a 6:28 pace. I think I like Runkeeper's results better.
