I thought I was running faster, but I guess not.  It was dark and I passed these two ladies.  I hope I didn't freak them out too much.  No Garmin for the birthday.  Maybe Christmas.

Nice pace!!! I had my ipod on once and a guy passed me and I SCREAMED! It was cool! I laughed so hard. He was laughing pretty hard too! ;)

Too funny.

Happy birthday! You don't need no stinkin' garmin! Seriously, some people become so addicted to those things... Get a scary mask instead, so you will for sure know you are scaring other runners!

LOL! Thanks for the welcome! I had a dog scare the crap outta me today! heard it come up behind me and it started barking...I jumped and looked around and it was a little weenie dog!

Oh man! The things that scare us sometimes... I just realized you said you are tapering. You got a marathon coming up soon?

From montelepsy on Fri, Dec 05, 2008 at 13:58:16

I think adding a 4th roll to your big shorts would have have freaked them out or got you a double date. Either way it's a win-win.

Happy belated birthday! Don't be too bummed about the Garmin. Christmas is right around the corner.

Thanks for the welcome on my blog.
