You Burt, are one LUCKY guy! What a beautiful wife- she looks great in her "after" photo. Kudos to her for all her hard work! Inspirational :-)

Awesome work to your beautiful wife! Enjoy those p90X workouts together :)

From julieesplin on Mon, Oct 01, 2012 at 13:21:59 from 75.169.182.193

Tell Vicki she looks great! That's quite an accomplishment. My mom struggles with her weight and we've talked a lot about it. I really am impressed, as that kind of weight loss takes a lot of hard work and discipline. Better pick up the pace Burt, or she'll be running circles around you soon.

From josse on Mon, Oct 01, 2012 at 13:30:11 from 70.196.197.223

Awesome!! job to your wife.

From Burt on Mon, Oct 01, 2012 at 14:47:38 from 71.216.109.214

QP - She hasn't reached her goal weight yet. I assume you know that and that's why you put "after" in quotation marks. Clever girl.

RAD - that's not all we'll enjoy together.

Julie - it also takes a lot of money to pay a bariatric surgeon that used to be my best friend in 1st grade until I peed on his leg.

Josse - Thanks! to you.

From julieesplin on Mon, Oct 01, 2012 at 19:38:08 from 75.169.177.51

Surgery or not, she's still doing it. The surgery just helps, it doesn't do it all for you.

I've been sitting here for several minutes trying to come up with something about the 1st grade pee on leg and I've got nothing. Darn.

From Burt on Mon, Oct 01, 2012 at 19:47:46 from 72.223.86.148

You're right. It still requires serious dedication to the diet and exercise. And let's just say that I'm a bad aim and his mom wasn't happy when he yelled out, "You peed on my leg!"

From AngieB on Tue, Oct 02, 2012 at 20:40:26 from 65.130.72.90

That is so awesome! Tell your wife I said great job and keep it up!

From Burt on Wed, Oct 03, 2012 at 11:41:48 from 71.216.109.214

Angie - Why don't you tell her yourself. Her number is 867-5309.

Steamer - You're too kind.

From DaleG on Wed, Oct 03, 2012 at 11:48:33 from 98.202.43.67

Burt, I called that number and it belongs to some guy named Roger. That's a catchy little number. They should write a song with that number in it.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 03, 2012 at 11:53:31 from 71.216.109.214

Haha! Well, keep calling it. I think you're dialing wrong or something. Eventually it should work.

From Tara on Wed, Oct 03, 2012 at 13:27:23 from 75.169.138.54

Burt, you missed a call. It was Roger. He said to stop giving out his number and that he will never forgive you for peeing on his leg.

She looks great! Good for her!!

From Burt on Wed, Oct 03, 2012 at 13:50:02 from 71.216.109.214

Come on Roger! That was just in case you got stung by a jellyfish!

Speaking of giving out people's numbers, at Napa Valley Ragnar our other van was tagging other teams' vans with the phone number of one of the runners in our van saying "call me maybe." He was getting so many phone calls. LOL! Good thing he was a good sport.

From SlowJoe on Wed, Oct 03, 2012 at 18:25:46 from 69.131.141.92

Thanks Joe! And congrats to your wife. For whatever accomplishments she's had lately.

From Burt on Thu, Oct 04, 2012 at 09:44:26 from 71.216.109.214

Thanks Mark! I'm glad somebody noticed little Emily in the corner of the pic :)

From Steam8 on Thu, Oct 04, 2012 at 09:51:33 from 166.70.55.77

Everyone notices cute, little Emily. She brightens every picture!

From The Quiet Pirate on Thu, Oct 04, 2012 at 10:01:41 from 152.26.230.54

Ditto- Emily steals the show!

From Burt on Thu, Oct 04, 2012 at 10:17:58 from 71.216.109.214

Ah, thanks ladies. But seriously, I need to go running so that I have something else to post.

From The Quiet Pirate on Thu, Oct 04, 2012 at 10:28:06 from 152.26.230.54

Run all you want, but I'd prefer photos of the lovely McCumber ladies over another hairy, sweaty, Ragnar chest any day!

From Burt on Thu, Oct 04, 2012 at 11:03:45 from 71.216.109.214

Such a liar!
