Ran first 5 miles at 7:02 pace...right leg still feels tight and tender from marathon 10 days ago. I finished the last few miles at 7:25 pace to take it easier. I feel heavy and just exhausted. I feel my nutrition over the last few weeks is better but still no drop in weight. I have a hard time being patient and want to feel faster but learning to enjoy the journey. This is a big lifetime goal for me as I never want to burn out again in life. I still feel like I am improving even though some days are tougher mentally than others. |
