Day 3 Foot Injury:  My skin that fell off reattached last night which is rad.  I attached mole skin to the edges and it is doing a ton better.

PM:  50K on the bike in 1:12.  Have no clue what this means in terms of mileage.  Maybe the tri and cycle people can enlighten me.  All I know is I could not have kept up with Justin or Christie even after they raced a half marathon.  Anyways, solid effort I feel.  Hamstrings were on fire around 47K.  Burned as many calories as if I had run 14 miles easy.  Glad I could get a workout in...

Excellent! Now go easy on it so it stays attached. I usually count the bike as how far I could run in the given time with the given effort.

50K is about 31 miles you know 5k is 3.1ish

I am neither a tri or a cycle guy, but I think converting to a running effort is a very discretionary science. You say, I was out for 72 minutes and it felt like about 9 minute pace would feel so I will say it equates to 8 miles (I believe this could be call the Fritzian method).

Or you could go crazy and track your HR and equate that to running HR and equivalent pace but who knows how precise that would be anyway.
