| | Ran 14.7 with the group today... and 3 more on my own on the TM a couple hours later. I felt exhausted after 11 miles. The wind was horrible on the way back... |
| | 4 easy miles on TM for shake out run... just needed to decompress... |
| | AM: out and back with Matt, Dan, Brandon, Toni, Reed and Scott. Studs! PM: easy 4 miles around Draper Park... |
| | AM: 10 miles up and back. Felt good. Ran tempo. Tweaked right hammy. Going to pay for this long term. PM: 6.5 easy shake out miles around Draper office and park. |
| | Ran this afternoon by myself. Very windy. Kept it easy the whole time 7:50 pace avg. for run. |
| | AM: 10.1 miles PM: 5 miles easy |
| | Felt really good. Kept the pace at 7:35 the entire run. Weather and roads were horrible. Tough Course too. I ran by myself. Good confidence booster LR for me. I guess I am going to do the Phoenix Marathon now. Never thought I would run a marathon... |
| | Ran with the group today. Always fun to run with these guys. |
| | AM: 10 miles out and back with Matt, Reed, Toni and Mike. -10 degrees. Coldest run I have definitely ever done in my life. On the way back, I picked up the pace. Reed went with me. Could not even feel my body or face. Reed and I talked the whole way back and we were moving along at low 6:00 pace for the last 5 miles. Have not felt this good on a run in a long time. To have a conversation and be cruising at the same time is any runner's goal. Hope to feel this good everyday. Hard to imagine I would have a great morning run like this in these conditions. PM: 5.7 miles easy @ 7:45 pace around Draper neighborhoods and Park. Air is horrible. |

Met Matt and Fritz this morning. Ran from Highland High School up to Sun and Moon along Emigration Canyon. 1800 ft. climb. I am horrible at climbs. Fritz and Matt climbed to the top. I turned around and decided to do tempo the last 10 miles. I kept it around 5:45 to 6:00 minute pace the whole way back. I felt really good especially after climbing. Good to get to know Fritz better. Incredible runners. Matt is looking like the Poulsen of Old. This guy will tear it up in 13. Mark my words...

| | AM: ran with Matt, Reed, Dan, Scott and Toni this morning. Fun run. Felt good til 9 miles and then just coasted in. |
| | Christmas morning run. Kept it @ 7:24 pace basically the whole time. Mile 12 I threw in a 6:05 mile just for kicks. I felt really good considering the weather and air are just toxic. Loving the improvements. |
| | Felt like I was running on the beach...horrible conditions. I ran by myself. Fastest 8:24 pace per mile I have ever done. Bad day for running... |
| | Easiest run I have had in a while. I started at 7:18 pace and finished at 6:45 pace for the last mile. I felt like I was chop stepping the whole time. I am looking forward to running long tomorrow. |
| | A great experience. Decided two days before that I was going to do a marathon on my own for a LR. Started out slow at 7:59(mile 1) and 7:43(mile 2). After that got warmed up and locked in at 7:02 for the next 18 miles. Felt really steady. Started feeling tired around mile 16, but plugged away. Course was pretty flat with some little rolling hills to it. Not bad at all. I thought I was picking it up for mile 21 and 22 but I guess I started slowing down. I did this run with a watch but never looked at it wanting to focus on strength and pace instincts. This all went to pot at mile 24. My right leg literally fell apart and I just cruised in the last little over two miles. I was defenitely done. Glad to check this off my bucket list. I had never run this far and still do not know what I am doing for this distance. Hope to continue learning and having fun with the improvements. |
| | Did weight workout chest and tris with my brother. Still really exhausted from Marathon TR... |
