Red hot 55k with Tara. Great time getting away with my sweety on V day. Her longest race and she ran just how she should have, smooth and in control the whole way. She felt great at the finish! Perfect. Me not so much. No plan or goal for the race, just go out a cruise and have a good time. Got caught up in the "race" half way through and went harder than planning for a bit. Gotta start sticking to nutriton plan on runs over 20 miles. Bonk o rama the last 8 miles or so. Sucked, Limped it in on empty. More core work for me is needed to. Up miles, way up core work and overall strength work and pay attention pace and food is the plan going forward.
