AM - 4000 meters of indoor rowing and a few minutes on the bike /indoor trainer.  No running.

AM - 3000 meters of indoor rowing - and equal time on the bike.  Cold symptoms nearly gone.  Foot pain is still significant particularly after a period of inactivity - such as getting out of bed in the morning (stiff, weak and painful) - but improves functionally after the tendons are warm.  Gonna give this some time to resolve itself before resuming running. 

PM - swam about 1000 meters - the ventilation for the indoor pool is either poor or I have some inner-ear issue going on - as I actually got nauseous - as if motion sick after I finished with the workout.

AM - in San Francisco on business today.  Got an hour in on the elliptical.  Although it is no impact - it did engage the foot tendons a bit - but I think it was ok to not do any harm or exacerbation of the tendonitis.  I like the ellipticals called AMT's - adaptive motion trainers - for getting my HR in the right range to equate to a run - but otherwise very much dislike the equipment as it feels unnatural and robotic.

Travel day back from the west coast.  no running or cross training.

PM - 5000 meters of indoor rowing and then 30 mins on the AMT elliptical in the gym.

PM - 25 miles of cycling.  Really nice day out - discovered how NOT in shape I am to be cycling particularly on steep hills.  Foot still not good.
