I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

Me and Kiley went for a run on Rail Trail. We just went for an easy 4 miles. I was tired and didn't really feel like running, so we took it easy.

Today we did the Cemetary loop from sugar house park. It was 7 miles. It took me 55:00. I felt good and pushed the first half but then my leg started to hurt so I backed off a little bit. After the run we did 2 sets of the circuit. It was really hard, so I definetly need to do it more often. (Pegasus 362)

AM- This morning we met at the zoo and ran on the shoreline trail. We ran to the fence at Red Butte and back. Me and Susannah ran together. It was a good run. Our time was 53:33, so pretty slow, but trails always are. My leg felt pretty good but hurt on some of the downhill. (Pegasus 368)

PM- Tonight I went to the Wasatch Athletics workout, but my leg was hurting and I was very tired so I decided not to run very much. I only did 1.25 miles. (Pegasus 369)

Today I had a good workout. I was pretty sore from some drills we did yesterday, but I don't think it slowed me down too much. We did a 2 mile warm-up. Then we did 5 strides. Then we did about the last 500 meters of our region course. We did it 5 times. The first 250 meters were uphill, then about 75 meters of downhill, and the rest was flat. I didn't get my time on the first one, but on the last 4 they were: 1:54, 1:53, 1:54, 1:53. Then we did a different section of our region course 3 times. It was a short uphill and then about 200 meters of downhill. Each one was just over 300 meters. My times were: 1:13, 1:11, 1:10. Then we did a cooldown around the park. I was happy with the workout. It felt good. (Pegasus 376)

AM- This morning we had practice at the Jordan River Trail. We did 6 easy miles. It took us 51:00, so 8:30 pace. It felt good, and was just a nice relaxing run.

PM- Tonight we had our team time trials. We did it on the state course but we did a shorter version with a different finish. We did a mile warm up and some strides. Then we ran the course. I would say it was about 2.6. It took me 16:38. I felt pretty good about it. I need to work on more hills though. Afterwards we did about a mile cooldown.

Today we ran on pipeline trail. Me and Susannah ran together. We started at Birch Hollow and ran to Rattlesnake Gulch and back. It was 7.25. It took us 1:05:05. We just ran at a nice and relaxed pace. It felt good but towards the end I could feel that my quads were pretty tired. (Pegasus 391)

This morning I ran a 5k. When I started the warm-up I was hurting quite a bit and didn't really feel like racing. As far as I could tell it didn't look like there were going to be any fast girls so I decided just to run to win. It ended up being more of a tempo run. It felt great and I wasn't tired at all. These were my splits 6:35, 6:45, 6:42, and 35. I ended up winning so that was good. Afterwards I did a cooldown to finish off my miles for the week.
