I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

I went on a 5 mile run with greg. It was really hot and I didn't feel very good.

I ran at Sugar House Park with Greg. I jogged about a mile warm-up, then I did some fartlek. 8 by 1 minute on, one minute off. Then finished the lap for 4 miles.

After I went to the gym and biked for 30 minutes.

I ran 5 and a half miles on pipeline trail with Kelsie. It felt good. I opened up a bit on the way back.

I ran at Sugarhouse park. I did a mile warm-up, then a tempo mile which was probably too slow to count, but I guess it was ok since it was my first time (lots of room for improvement). I ran it in 7:40. Then I did 5 hills and a cooldown.

Pool Ran for 30 minutes, did 4 sets of 3 minutes hard 1 minute easy

5 miles with Kelsie on pipeline. It felt great...I love running up there. My shins hurt the whole time as usual but other than that I felt good. My legs are starting to feel a little bit tired.

Ran at some parks by my house. It was alot of laps and really boring. I did 6.5 miles It took me 57:45. My shin was really hurting, I'm hoping it will get better soon. I got my goal of 30 miles for the week, next week 33.
