I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

Today I ran from the Capital to Sugar House park. It was a really fun run. I felt good at the end and wanted to keep going but decided to stop while I was feeling good instead of running till I felt like dying and then stopping. My shin hurt a little bit on the down hills at the start of the run but by the end it wasnt bugging me anymore. That could be because it warmed up or the ibuprofen kicked in. This is the furthest run I've done since I started to run again. I'd like to get 30 to 35 miles this week, so hopefully I'll be able to do that.

This morning I went on a run just as it started to snow. I did the porcupine loop. It wasn't very fast but it was good to just be out running. It was 5.25 and took me about 47 minutes.

Today we did a 2.5 mile warm up a mile of which was speed changes. Then we did 4x200. I did all of mine in 38. We jogged a 200 in between. Then we did 2x400. I ran a 1:24 then a 1:22. We had a 200 recovery in between. Then we did a relay and where we did 4 more 200's but I dont know what my times were for those. Then we did a mile cooldown. I was happy with the workout it felt good and i was glad I pushed myself through the whole thing.

We went for a run to Sugar House park did a lap around and then ran back to the track. I'm really sore but the run felt good. My shin didn't hurt until the last 2 miles or so. I went to the chiropractor yesterday and got accupuncture which i think probably helped. Hopefully they will continue to get better.

We jogged 2 laps and then did some stretching, then we did our regular warm-up of a mile slow and a mile of speed changes and then one lap easy. Then we did a relay with 3 people, each person doing a 200. The recovery between each 200 was just over a minute. We did 4 200's total my times were 40, 40, 39, 38. After the workout we jogged one lap slow.

Went for a run that started at Sugar House park and ended at Liberty park. It was 8 miles and felt really good. Afterward I pool ran for 30 minutes.
