I ran on the treadmill again today. Today was a much better experience then yesterday. I stretched about 10 minutes beforehand just like yesterday and then started running. I put the treadmill on 1.5 incline and started slower then yesterday and then increased the speed every minute. It took me 10:33 to finish the mile but it felt very easy and went by quickly. My heart rate at the end was 161 so much better than 192 yesterday. After the run I stretched for about 10 more minutes and then did 25 crunches and 5 push-ups ( I have REALLY weak arms but I have to start somewhere I guess). Now I'm just wondering what I should do from here. I'm going to do at least one more day of only a mile and hopefully a bit faster than today but I'm not sure if I should keep doing the mile till I'm able to do it at 8:00 comfortably or if I should add a mile and stay at a slower pace. |
