This morning we had our last summer workout. We met at the track. We did 1 mile slow, then a mile of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then we did 1 mile and 2 800's. I was still very sore from the 1/2 so I did it at tempo pace. I did the mile in 6:43, and the 800's in 3:19 and 3:16. They felt fairly easy but my legs were tired and my calves were knotted up. Afterward we did a cooldown around the block that was 3.25 miles. We have our first meet on Wednesday so I hope my legs will be feeling better by then. (Pegaus 86) |
