AM- We ran at Liberty Park this morning. I was very sore, everywhere! Yesterday I went on a hike to Lake Blanche which is about 6 miles round trip and then I played a few games like capture the flag and stuff, so I think that is why I am sore. Also on the hike I fell twice and kind of hurt my ankle, which bothered me a little bit today. We did one lap for our warm-up. We did 5 strides that were about 50 meters long. Then we did one lap as a time trial, and one lap cooldown. I lost my watch on the hike yesterday and the one I'm using right now doesn't recall splits so I don't know all of my times, but my faster lap was in 10:34. I felt good, but with about half a mile to go my legs got really heavy and mentally I kind of gave up, then I refocused and was able to finish fast. In the cooldown my legs were very tired. I have a track meet tomorrow, so I don't know if I will run tonight. I might just do a couple miles to loosen up my legs. (Pegasus 157) |
