I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

This morning when I woke up my face was still a little swollen, and I didn't get home from the hospital till about 3 in the morning, but we had planned to meet michelle and dennis at 8:30, so I got up and we went running. Me and michelle ran together on a trail in draper. We ran for 40 minutes, and decided it was about 5 miles. I'm doing much better tonight and there's hardly any more swelling so that is good. I'd like to hit 2 weeks of 40 and then build up a little more, but I'll just take it day by day and see how things go. My legs were a little tired last week but I expected that. Also the doctors put me on Prednisone for the allergic reaction I had so maybe that can clear up some little aches and pains too. I also just found out I will probably be running wasatch back this weekend so that will be fun. (Pegasus 88)
