Today we had a really good workout. We have a meet tomorrow, but we are just training through it because it isn't a big one, so we did a speed workout. We did one mile slow and then one mile of speed changes with one lap recovery. Then we did an 800 (3:02). I should have run faster, but I was feeling really sick in the second lap. Then we did 4x400 (1:19, 1:18, 1:17, 1:15) these went really well. On each one I was practicing kicking. Then we were supposed to do 6x200, but when we were lined up to start the 5th one my dad changed it to a 400. I ran the 200's in: 35, 35, 35, and 34. Then in the 400 I ran a 1:17. Then we jogged 4 laps slow. It was a good workout, I hope I'll be able to race well tomorrow. |
