Today was a really good workout. We ran from the school on sunnyside up past the zoo, then we turned right and ran out on wasatch through the golf course. After the golf course we turned right at the first street, and ran down to 1900 e. Then we ran on 1900 e. over to 800 s. and back down to the track. It is 5 miles and it took 39:41. I pushed hard to try and stay with Clayton and Zach. By the time I got back to the track my legs were really tired. Then we did 2x300 in 54 and then 57. My legs were tired and I couldn't run as fast as I wanted to in the second one, but I just wanted to keep them under 60 and focus on switching to a sprint with 100 meters to go, so it was okay. Then we did 10x100. I did them in 15, 14, 15, 15, 14, 14, 14, 14, 14, and 14. Then we went and jogged two laps slow around the track and 2x25 crunches. I was happy with my workout. |
