After taking almost 3 weeks off, I'm finally able to start running and getting back into shape. About 4 weeks ago I got strep throat and didn't have quality runs for about a week. Then I ran P.F. Changs half. I got croup the day before the race, and as soon as I was over that I got my wisdom teeth out. There are a few things I would like to do to get in shape. I want to get stronger by cross training, I want to get my splits back (I used to be a very flexible gymnast), and I want to improve my diet.
Today I ran from my house to the gym which was 3.5 miles, once I was at the gym I ran a half mile on the treadmill to make it an even 4, then I did weights for 20 minutes and stretched for 15 minutes. |
